A Series of Fortunate Photos

Lemony Snicket is the pen name of a very talented writer - and a first-class letterboxer! The Wide Window was our most intriguing find yet, out in the Auburn State Recreation Area, very near the super-scary Foresthill Bridge. Given my, erm, rather apparent gravidity, I wasn't sure I was going to make it once we got out there and saw exactly the kinds of climbing grades we were in for. But we made it out alive and well, if dusty and sweaty and hosting more than a few briars.

See the album!

Then we went to Baker's Square. There was pie.

Sutter Buttes

A trio of photos from waaay back in November. Mostly it served as a test of JAlbum, which has a nice collection of skins. Though I prefer to keep things around here pretty simple.

Second Success

Latest report from LbNCA (Letterboxing North California) indicates that our Apple Hill box has had its first visitor (the omnipresent Jiggs)! And they picked up the Scar Paw hitchhiker while there, too (which I'd forgotten we'd left, oops). We really should put a little pressie for the first finder in our next plant.
