New and Upcoming

Had a little fun with Roseville in Autumn yesterday. Cute little shop, and Sandy was very nice! We picked up a new ink pad better suited to travelling.

It took a good two hours to solve the clues for this brand-new box (not even posted to the official site yet). And how could I resist the Lemony Snicket theme? There were a few little mistakes, but I still respect clues that make us think and do a little research. Maybe I won't be quite so literal with the clues for our next box!

I re-carved the Fair Oaks chicken last night over MST3K. A little classier this time thanks to my giant stash of eBayed recycled stamp parts. Darin and I had such agonizing difficulty agreeing on a spot to hide it last time (I don't even remember how many scouting trips we took to the river) that I may just go in the cool morning and hide this copy myself. Then he can be the first guinea pig.

Hey, look over there! New clues for a shamefully old box.

To Do

A few new-ish boxes in the area we've got our eye on:

North Fork Dry Diggins - Auburn
I-80 #1 - Auburn
Autumn in Roseville - Roseville
Bok Kai - Marysville
Little Jackrabbit - Vacaville
Nymph of the Sea - Vacaville
Cupid's Arrow - Davis
A Rocky Trail - Davis

I've also got two stamps carved to plant - one for Old Sacramento, and one for Fairfield - and another easy box planted up at Apple Hill to write out clues for. Lots to do!
